In loving memory of Biew

It is with sadness that we share the news that Biew, one of the children in our care, has passed away. Born in January 2005, Biew grew up as a bright and joyful boy. His life changed dramatically when, at the age of nine, he was struck by a car—an accident that left him severely handicapped and in need of full-time care.

In the years that followed, Biew’s grandfather lovingly devoted himself to his grandson’s wellbeing. He gave up his job to care for Biew day and night, feeding him through a straw and tending to his every need. Their bond was a powerful picture of unconditional love and faithfulness—an example to all of us who had the privilege of knowing them.

Although Biew's body was frail, his spirit was strong. Despite his difficulties, he continued to bless those around him with his kind presence and quiet courage. We thank God that Biew is now at peace, for his life was not easy. Friends died in the beginning, after the accident, came by, repeatedly left. It was a shared journey for young Biew.

We find comfort in knowing that Biew is now free from pain and in the loving arms of Jesus. Please keep his grandfather and family in your prayers during this time of loss.
