Children have the right to education

Unfortunately, many Thai families struggle to send their children to school. Often for financial reasons, sometimes for physical reasons. Without school, children lack the stable foundation to build a future. We help vulnerable children to go to school, so that they have a chance at a better life.

Many of the families in our program are affected by illness and poverty. Sometimes parents have died from HIV or are too weak to work. Grandparents, who in many cases care for the children, are often too old to earn an income. Children are the victims of this and remain stuck in a vicious circle.

What do we cover?

With your help, Siam-Care can help a child go to school. That way, we break the negative spiral. We cover all school-related costs. Think of school uniforms, pens and notebooks, school bus costs, and more. We are also involved in the lives of the children. We guide them and their families, and help them to stand on their own two feet.

More than financial help

We visit the children in our program periodically, to see how things are going at home and at school. We also invite them to children's camps and trainings at our office. We train, encourage and comfort them. We tell them that God loves them. Everything to help them move forward. That has an effect on the entire family, in the short and long term.

Give hope and a future to a child, there is an urgent need for it.
