We are Siam-Care, a foundation dedicated to vulnerable children in Thailand. We actually do a bit of what Compassion does: support children through sponsorship so that they have more opportunities for the future. However, we are smaller, perhaps a bit more personal, and we work very directly with local churches and families.
Why am I here?
We cannot do it alone. Together with you, we can get much further. We are looking for people who want to turn the world of a child in need upside down. And help them go to school through support.
As a sponsor, you help a child with things that seem very normal to us:
- education
- healthy meals
- clothes
- medical care
- attention and guidance
But perhaps even more importantly: a child discovers that it is seen. That someone on the other side of the world says: You are valuable.It is not without reason that James says in the Bible that to God the Father alone, this is pure, unadulterated religion:Â assisting widows and orphans in their need (James 1:27)
Through sponsorship, you help not only one child, but often the entire family as well. And because we work locally, the help truly goes where it is needed.
No grand gesture needed
