We weren't even supposed to visit this woman. But coincidentally we met her.
This is the story of a Siam-Care volunteer
Siam-Care often welcomes volunteers. Marlieke is one of them and she likes to share about her adventure.
You can now watch these stories of the families and children of Siam-Care
A guy who killed somebody. Or a drugsdealer. Maybe a rapist. Do they deserve to be loved?
Siam-Care supports over a 100 poor and sick families in Bangkok medically, mentally and financially. We visit families at their homes, so that they feel safe and secure. The car that we use to visit families is old and broken at the moment. We need to replace this car as soon as possible and only need 5000 more. Will you help us buy a new car?
Prison MinistryWe support HIV-infected prisoners in the notorious Bangkwan prison. We inform them about medication use and provide moral support.
Family careWe help families who are unable to support themselves. We give medical, spiritual and financial support. Our goal is to enable families to stand on their own feet again.
Educational SponsorshipWith our help over 300 children can go to school. Without our financial support this would be impossible.
AwarenessIn several places, we share our knowledge about HIV. In high schools we give sexual education. And in border areas we inform about safe migration.
Crafts ProgramWomen without a job can participate in our craft program. The woman make crafts and earn an income by selling it.
Do you already support a family or child and would like to do more? Such as sending a letter or gift, possibly visit?
