It was a normal day in the office for the staff at Siam-Care Bangkok.
Naampun is a 13-year-old girl, born in the poor northeast of Thailand.
Siam-Care supports over a 100 poor and sick families in Bangkok medically, mentally and financially. We visit families at their homes, so that they feel safe and secure. The car that we use to visit families is old and needs to be replaced. Will you help us buy a new car?
Educational SponsorshipWith our help over 300 children can go to school. Without our financial support this would be impossible.
AwarenessIn several places, we share our knowledge about HIV. In high schools we give sexual education. And in border areas we inform about safe migration.
Crafts ProgramWomen without a job can participate in our craft program. The woman make crafts and earn an income by selling it.
Prison MinistryWe support HIV-infected prisoners in the notorious Bangkwan prison. We inform them about medication use and provide moral support.
Family careWe help families who are unable to support themselves. We give medical, spiritual and financial support. Our goal is to enable families to stand on their own feet again.
